This award marks the 15th time PFC USA has earned the Best Places to Work in Collections distinction since 2009, reflecting the company’s longstanding commitment to creating a positive, supportive, and rewarding workplace for its employees.

The Best Places to Work in Collections program is administered by Best Companies Group, which conducts more than 60 local, national, and industry workplace recognition programs each year. The program was created to identify, recognize, and honor organizations that demonstrate excellence as employers within the collections industry. For 2026, 60 companies met the standards required to earn recognition.

• To be eligible for consideration, participating organizations were required to:
• Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
• Be a public or private U.S. company
• Employ a minimum of 10 employees in the United States
• Have been in business for at least one year
• Operate as a collection agency, collection law firm, or debt buyer

Companies from across the United States participated in a rigorous two-part evaluation process. The first portion assessed each organization’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second—and particularly important—component consisted of an employee survey designed to measure the actual employee experience.

The combined results of these assessments determined which organizations earned recognition and their final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the registration, survey, and analysis process and determined the final results.

Being recognized for the 15th time since 2009 is especially meaningful to PFC USA because employee feedback plays a central role in determining the award.
