April 16, 2019 – PFC’s Client Relationship Specialist, Isaac Tovar, volunteered at the Latino Youth Leadership Conference, hosted by the University of Northern Colorado, UNC.

The Latino Youth Leadership Conference (LYLC) started in the spring of 2002 by the César Chávez Cultural Center and the Upsilon Beta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc. at UNC. The mission of the LYLC is to inspire students through an educational journey based on 4 workshops: Leadership, Education, Self-Esteem, and Cultural Awareness.

Tovar guided a group of Franklin Middle School students through various educational speaker events held by the César Chávez Cultural Center and engaged the students with his higher education experience, career path after college, and his experience as a Latino, first generation college graduate.
